GSCS has been informed by the NJ Departmente of Education that the code required to support the proposed superintendent salary cap policy will be filed on Aug. 19, and it will be published per the calendar(www.state.nj.us/oal/publication_schedule.html on Sept. 20 ; The 60 day comment period on this code ends Nov. 19.
GSCS has put together a Special Education Work Group to look at mandates and costs; it is anticpated that the work group will report its findings to membership this fall.
