Effectiveness of Teaching and Learning

 • Impact and feedback of the new teacher evaluation system

• PARCC testing and Common Core integration

Conflicts of Providing Required Programs and Services with Limited Revenues

• Inflexible 2% tax levy cap impedes expansion of education and support program requirements

Garden State Coalition of Schools is a non-partisan, non-profit education advocacy organization led
by a highly motivated, volunteer membership of superintendents, business administrators, board members, and
parents. Grassroots in its decision-making, the approximately 100 member districts, primarily suburban, span
the state from Camden County to Bergen County and include a range of economic levels.
