Trenton, NJ – Today, Michael Drewniak, Press Secretary for the Governor, issued the following statement:

"Governor Chris Christie will address a special joint session of the Legislature next Thursday, February 11, regarding the state's current year budget deficit. Earlier today, Governor Christie spoke with both Senate President Stephen Sweeney and Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver to request the joint session."

Timing and details will follow once all arrangements are made with the Legislative leadership.
